Floral Styling and Photography in Le Mans France

There is a new favourite thing I have discovered to do. Floral photography. I am busy working on a personal project since we are homebound and practising social distancing. I got inspired when my kids refused to have more photos taken of them, my dogs ran away when I pointed a camera at them and I had nothing else to photograph. I discovered the therapeutic effect of working with organic things and the peace when photographing them. I have since taken some photos of vegetables, food and my vegetable garden progress, from seed to plate. So keep an eye out for that. For now I would like to take you on a floral journey, with beautiful imagery of flowers and nature whilst on a recent trip to France.

It was an escape to the French country side, to slow down, and learn. Not only did I learn to do organic arrangements, meet beautiful friends from across the globe, but I got time to slowly create beautiful images, images that I could possibly sell on my printshop and use for other means of income. I turned my focus to things other than photographing people. I took time to take in the beauty of the surroundings of our Chateau that we stayed at. Decor, food, landscape and animals where my main interests. And I feel I was able to capture a story.
