Sometimes you just have to hear someones voice, to know that they are warm and loving people.

We met over Skype. The signal wasn’t perfect and at first I could only hear their voices. Sharon and Kundai, introducing themselves, and then suddenly the screen visible and I could see the faces that belonged to those warm voices. I was super excited, this now my third referral of clients originally from Zimbabwe, now living in Australia. I felt like the luckiest photographer on earth for them booking me to photograph their wedding. And I was I later realised.

Nestled below the majestic Helderberg mountains, a small drive from Cape Town, lies a gem of a venue called Cavalli Estate. An estate consistently voted as one of the top wedding destinations in South Africa. The view, the food, the people. Everything about this wedding was exquisite. The incredible decor and smooth coordination by Chelsea from Warrenstone Weddings making sure everything was perfect! The horses groomed and the champagne ready, then. A flood of rain blessing the day. A picturesque afternoon with a glorious sunset opening the evening for the celebration. And what a celebration it was with friends and family from across the world. This was definitely a wedding to remember, a wedding that I as a photographer loved photographing and can only pray to have more stunning clients like these. At 12pm, my Uber arrived and I remember saying to myself, it can’t be over!
